eCELLAR Ship Manager - FedEx Set Up

eCELLAR Ship Manager allows for managing fulfillment directly from your winery via FedEx.

Packages are managed and labels are printed from the eCELLAR Administrative Control Panel (ACP) .


Initial Setup

Initial set up must be performed by eCELLAR Support. Please reach out with the following information:

  • Login username and password for your FedEx account. These credentials will be used by eCellar for administrating the API keys and general setup required by FedEx.
  • FedEx account number.
  • Your winery name and address registered with the account number.
  • A good point-of-contact person who is knowledgable about your shipping providers and label printers.
  • Make and model number of your label printer.

Administrative Control Panel Setup


  1. Permissions:
    1. Shipping > Ship Manager permission.
    2. Provides the user access to all Ship Manager functionality.
    3. Support will provide the permission to the point of contact provided above. Others can be added by the User Manager at your winery.

  • Package Types (Optional):

    Carriers might give a bit better rates on defined package sizes. Check with your FedEx sales representative.

    With Package Types defined you will still be able to edit specifics at label creation for exceptions.

    1. Package Type settings are created and managed under the Company tab > Shipping > Package types.
    2. Name the package and enter the dimensions.


  1. FedEx Printing Setup

This page requires:

  • The JSPrintManager desktop app be installed and running.
  • At least one printer installed at the OS level.
  • Failure of either of the above will cause an error message to appear and the main form to be hidden.
    1. To manage printer settings and print labels must install the JSPrintManager desktop app:

    2. FedEx Print setting are created and managed under the Company tab > Shipping > FedEx Print Settings.
    3. Set up can be for thermal labels OR plain paper.

      Zebra printers print thermal but in cases where a Zebra printer is not available you can print on a desktop/laser printer.
