eCELLAR Updates - 2023
The following are eCELLAR enhancements added in 2023:
December 26, 2023
- CRV Fee Collection: NEW California Redemption Value support allows consumer fee collection across all eCELLAR transaction points: POS, Club & Online (Allocation, Club & General stores). This is NOT a tax, but a refundable fee to be collected by wineries. More information on the state's CRV program can be found here: https://calrecycle.ca.gov/bevcontainer/basics/

October 10, 2023
- Reservations Manager: NEW Add All Tables button now lets you easily book every table for one reservation with a single click, making them unavailable online and in the ACP for bookings
- Gift Cards:
- We have modified the bulk auth/capture routine to skip orders with physical gift cards applied - they need to be completed (paid) in the POS.
- Fix: Attempting to charge an order with a previously voided Gift Card generated an error - this has been resolved
- Bulk Auth/Capture: We have modified the bulk auth/capture routine (used to capture funds for many orders at once) to re-attempt declined credit cards ONCE after decline. The retry attempt will utilize the same payment method and card on the last payment attempt, and will include orders and related payments that match this criteria:
- The order is Not Paid billing status (partial-paid orders will not be retried), AND
- Payment for order is Declined CC, AND
- Order is not part of a multi-ship batch, AND
- Most recent payment amount equals order total

- Bar receipt printing now available via iPad: For wineries that are running a kitchen AND a bar can now differentiate where tickets will be printed from iPad POS by product type
- Sorting of products are now available in Allocation & ReMix
- POS: Allocation dropdown no longer displays hidden allocation events to eliminate clutter
- Inventory: We have added an 18 Liter unit volume option
- Sales Rep Report: Added Discounted Extended Price to report (used for paying commission on net sales)

- Gift Card (Physical & Virtual) sales and redemption is now live! Watch the User Group demo - online documentation coming soon!
- Reservations Manager:
- (optional) Order creation now happens when reservations are placed
- Invite customers to add experiences to their reservation when they are booking online
August, 2023
- Google Analytics 4 Compatability: eCELLAR talks GA4! Click here for more info
- Returns: You can now place multiple returns against a single order
- Auth/Capture enabled for Online: Automatically capture funds when orders are placed online
- Tax Override by Brand: Our Enterprise clients (running more than one brand from a single eCELLAR database) can now dictate tax rates by brand
- New EMV Hardware: The compact Ingenico 2500 is a portable Bluetooth chip reader that works with PC's, laptops & Windows tablets

- Added 'Apply min/max to required products only' checkbox to Basis: Allows specific min/max products to qualify customers for discount
- Added Max Uses field to have a discount 'expire' after n uses
- We now include more data points when copying an existing discount to create new
- Overall User Interface cleanup

- Gift Card v1 Added: Existing gift cards sold before migrating to eCELLAR may now be loaded and used in POS
- Product Editor enhancements: Search improvements for large (for 20k+ skus) product databases, new product export into excel
