User Passwords
To Change your eCellar user password, you must first be logged in. From the Admin Control Panel, navigate to Users > Change Password.
To validate a new password change, you must first know your current password. If you typically use password autofill (which is not recommended), the password autofill will not work on the reset page. If you cannot reset your password, contact the Support Team for assistance.
New passwords must meet the security standards listed below, and cannot be a previously used password.
- minimum 8 characters in length
- at least one uppercase letter
- at least one lower case letter
- at least one number
- at least one special character
Complete the password change form
Password Security
Your eCellar user account password expires every 90 days to stay in compliance with our PCI certification. Ever get stuck at the password reset page because you forgot your current password? Yep - we know... it's a drag! Our first tip to prevent this hassle is to turn off password auto-fill for eCellar. Requiring that your password is typed in for every login is the most secure option for your computer and your database.
Keep an eye out for a friendly reminder to count down seven days until your password will expire. Don't wait until the last day to reset your password. (Especially if it's a weekend!) Need any help? Call the Support Team.
To comply with our security policies we are not permitted to transmit user passwords via email. If you need assistance resetting your password and your ready to login to eCellar, give us call and we will provide you with a new password and help you get logged in.
