Create a New Customer Record

Before or while creating an order in the POS, use the "Uber" or Quick Add Customer form to create a new customer record on-the-fly.  This will associate the current order with the customer record.

Add a New Customer

POS > select New Customer in toolbar > to open a new form

Complete the New Customer form

The minimum fields to enter are: First name, Last name, and email address.  

The Username will automatically populate using the email address.  

The Customer Type and Source, and optionally Allocation Tier, will auto=populate from the Comany settings in the ACP

Use the bolt icon to copy and zap in any fields to the next column. 

Best Practice: Capturing a customer's birthday is essential for compliance checks and validation.  And, it is a way to offer specialized marketing offers using an automated campaign broadcast.
