Sales Channels (Order Sources)

Every order is tied to a Sales Channel, also known as an Order Source. The ability to record the different multi-sales channels enables detailed revenue accounting and reporting.

The Different Types of Sales Channels (Order Sources)

-Alloc (Allocation)
-Club (Wine Club)
-Events
-FOB (Freight on Board)
-Inbound
-Int (Internal)
-Outbound
-PH/Fax/Mail
-POS (Point-of-Sale)
-Web (Website)
-WHSLE (Wholesale

Most types of order source are automatically created and set by eCellar depending on how the orders are initially created. The sales channel can be modified in the POS by bringing up the order in the following drop down menu.
