After evaluating a number of options, Stripe quickly rose to the top.
Today, Stripe powers payments for millions of businesses around the world and has become one of the industry's leading payment platforms. More importantly for us, it provides the foundation we need to deliver the next generation of payment experiences within eCELLAR.
This is much more than a new payment processor. It's an investment in the future of our platform and in the wineries we serve.

For years, OpenEdge has been the primary payment processor integrated with eCELLAR, and it continues to be a supported option for our clients. As our industry evolves, however, we believe it's important to offer wineries additional choices that provide flexibility, modern technology, and predictable pricing.

Express Checkout with Digital Wallets
Today's consumers expect payment experiences that are fast, simple, and secure. Stripe helps us continue modernizing the purchasing experience while maintaining the deep winery specific functionality that makes eCELLAR unique. Express checkout with digital wallets will be introduced in phase 2 of the Stripe deployment which is currently underway.
Choice Matters
Adding Stripe doesn't mean replacing OpenEdge.
Both payment processors will continue to be supported within eCELLAR, allowing each winery to choose the single solution that best fits its business.
Our goal is to provide options, not limitations.
